Borosilicate 1 - Introduction to Borosilicate
Studio safety and the proper use of a glass torch get you making your first glass
creations. Learn about the different types of glass, color mixing and basic forming
techniques. Learn to use borosilicate glass, otherwise known as Pyrex glass.
Starting with 3 Dimensional shapes we will learn to use hot glass, the foundation of
studies for making glass sculpture.
Materials: All materials used in class will be provided
Projects: Sculptural Designs will include basic principles of making sculpture.
