Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Leah moved to Portland, Oregon in August of 2000 after graduating from college. She found her love for hot glass while getting her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. Leah has worked as a full time artist playing with glass since 2001, and has taught classes in torchworking since 2003. You can take classes from Leah at the Aquila Glass School in North Portland.
Mobiles are a pleasure in my life. In the morning when I do yoga, they circle the space above my head, dancing and making me smile. My glass mobiles can be hung inside or out. I craft each one by hand, both the glass and the steel frame. Large installations to decorate an architectural feature, or a beautiful garden, or a baby's bedroom. Mobiles for all people of all ages.
